As part of the Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats Other Than FRB (PSCRB) course, QMS Maritime Training Center‘s students participate in a realistic ship abandonment simulation and practice rescue procedures at VIKING Safety Academy facility.
Through hands-on training, students:
- Familiarize themselves with survival equipment and procedures in case of shipwreck
- Receive training in the use of enclosed lifeboats
- Face realistic scenarios, such as ship abandonment and survival at sea
- Learn how to act calmly and effectively in emergency situations
