Dry Bulk Vetting (Rightship Requirements)

This two-day BC Dry Vetting Course with GHG Emissions is aimed at developing an appreciation of the key practical issues for anyone involved with a Rightship vetting inspection. In addition, an outline of GHG emissions rating.

The course will help to empower ship managers, operators, owners and crew involved in the vetting process, with an understanding and additional skill set to be able to handle the inspection more professionally and make better decisions.
The course not only covers dry vetting methodologies of the inspections but also EEDI (Energy Efficiency Design Index and EVDI (Existing Vessel Design Index). The common question in the market is how can EEDI and EVDI change your rating? During the course this will be answered and how can the vessels work towards a cleaner environment and improved environmental star ratings.
During this course you will be encouraged to explore real life scenarios and participate in technical exercises to enhance your learning experience. The class is very interactive with questions encouraged at any time.

During the course we will discuss vetting procedures, green ships, environmental ratings, optimization and what to do to secure a good vetting report.
