New Seafarers
SCOPE:
This course aims to meet the mandatory minimum requirements for seafarers regarding familiarization, basic safety training, first aid, personal safety, and social responsibility—including the new resolution ‘Prevention and Response to Violence and Harassment’ MSC.560(108). It also covers survival techniques and firefighting instruction, including practical drills in firefighting and survival craft.
