SCOPE:
This course provides training to deck officers on the ship to ship (STS) transfer operation and MARPOL Chapter 8 by providing the basic principles and practical exercises with Bridge and Cargo Handling Simulators. The course is intended to familiarize the participants with all the necessary actions they have to take during this operation. The objectives cover also the cargo transfer operations on a cargo simulator.
