SCOPE:
To train participants on the particularities, challenges and requirements of safe
navigation and geographical awareness of the Great Lakes / St. Lawrence River seaways. Trainees will also be provided with possible challenges and warnings when entering/docking/transiting/exiting these areas and best practice guidance for enhanced stakeholder interaction. Accidents case study analysis will be provided as well as advanced ship handling / maneuvering Bridge Simulator scenarios.
