SCOPE:
To provide training requirements for LNG Carriers and others utilizing Natural Gas as propulsion fuel. The scope of training includes Gas fuel and Oil fuel management, Duel Fuel operation hazards, Safety Assurance, Pollution Prevention, Diesel-Electrical Machinery control systems and emergency operation, Remote and Local Operation of essential Auxiliary machinery. High Voltage Electrical supply and control system (competence in Operating power systems over 1000 Volt). Extensive practice with DF Diesel Electric Engine Simulator.
