Skippers, Crew wishing to begin career within Deck or Engine Dept of Yachts and/or Small Commercial Vessels
SCOPE:
This course is a continuation of AEC Level 1 and provides knowledge and skills for a small commercial vessel crew member wishing to follow an engineering career but with no formal marine engineering qualifications. The objective of this course is to provide trainees with basic theoretical and practical knowledge across a range of auxiliary systems on board small commercial vessels within the yacht, workboat, fishing, tug maritime industry and undertake the role of Yacht Engineer or Dual Deckhand / Engineer.
